In the given text, the channel is represented by incorporating Gaussian noise and Rayleigh Fading. In this project, we have conducted a study and comparison of different combining methods and relaying protocols. We have analyzed the performance characteristics in terms of The Bit Error Rate and the Throughput. The relaying protocols that we have considered are Amplify & Forward and Detect & Forward, and it has been observed that Amplify and Forward exhibited better performance. Among the combining schemes, the Maximal Ratio Combining scheme has shown better Bit Error Rate and Throughput curves. To further enhance the network, we extended it to a four-node communication system with two relays acting as distributed antennas. This approach allows us to achieve space diversity without the need for physical arrays.
