In the present study, we introduce a two-dimensional cellular automaton model for simulating pedestrian evacuation in opposite directions. The model incorporates various factors such as walking speed, direction, and density of pedestrians, as well as the width and length of the evacuation area. The proposed model can be used to simulate and analyze the evacuation process in different scenarios and conditions, and can provide valuable insights for designing safer and more efficient evacuation plans. Additionally, the model can be further improved by incorporating other relevant factors such as the presence of obstacles and the behavior of individual pedestrians.
